If he's that blind it makes you realize why he hasn't won in so long.
Geeze, that was stupid.  Apparently they were yelling at him from the pitbox
not to pit but don't they have spotters?

not to defend Rusty, but maybe if Jr. hadn't been trying to pass cars coming
down pit road, it wouldn't have happened.

you nailed it EGK...and the drivers *are* somewhat "blind" when
strapped into their machines....it was a last second instruction from
his CC....guess it was "now or never" type of deal....and Jr was
trying his damnedest to make a few spots...he had no time to avoid
it...i hate it for Jr...

Yea, right there with ya J. I'm embarrassed by what he just did. Stupid,
stupid, stupid, move.

maybe if rusty would make up his mind whether to pit, it wouldn't have
happened.

Actually that's not what they said. They said he wasn't supposed to pit, but was doing so anyway.

DAmn, I'm glad I ain't the only one thinking this. Rusty probably would
not expect a car to be to his outside at that point entering pit road.

But from the inside lane and (blind) across traffic?  Rusty had all but
committed to pit road, considering his spot in the bunched traffic, and
it was lucky that his unexpected move didn't take out even more cars.

I doubt it would have.
Jr. was the only one crazy enough to try and pick up some *free* track position by swinging wide and passing a lot of cars while
they were slowing.

I must have missed the part where they exchanged drivers licenses.  Is
Michigan a no-fault state?
