what are they worth?

I've purchased four "PSL" seats for at the new Texas Motor Speedway.  I
paid $4,000 for the license which entitles me to purchase season tickets
for these select seats.  The ticket prices for PSL's have not been
announced yet,  but I suspect that the Winston Cup Race in April will be
about $100 per seat.  My question is.... how much are these tickets
worth to Nascar Fans wanting good seats for the race?  How much should I
ask for them.  I bought them strictly to resale.  What have you paid for
choice seats at other tracks?

I am with Bob Paxton on this one; take you scalping rear end somewhere else!

If you paid $4,000 for the PSL simply to resell, you are in for a big
surprise, my friend. You will never recoup your PSL money. You will not even
get face value for your IRL and BGN tickets. Did you do a net present value
calculation on the $4,000 outlay? How about internal rate of return?

I don't pay more than face value for any seat to any race.  If I can't get
a ticket at face value, I don't go.  Heck, I can barely afford face.

If you're asking us to help you line your pockets at the expense of us
true race fans, you've come to the wrong place.  We have names for
professional scalpers in here, and none of them are pretty...

Right on Bob.  You might add that this guy should read a few of the posts
here on tickets...almost all the posts are offering tickets at face value
or below.

Tinadog says:  Does this guys "choice of investment" qualify for a BIG
LOSS tax write-off or is he just up a creek without a boat?

If nothing else, this post was good for a chuckle on my end.

What kind of klutz buys tickets to a race he's already determined he
isn't going to go to?  Leave the tickets for race fans.
