Why do you think Steve should be sidelined?  Today, was not his fault.
Newman clearly caused the wreck and clearly admitted it.  Steve was out for
6 months from his injury.  It will take time to regroup and he will continue
to succeed..  If anything, Steve's team and car setup needs major
improving - not him.

DEI will get rid of him soon, Kenny Wallace will be in that car in 2003.

By the way he is not fully recovered, I don't think his responses are
there...he is going to be another Ernie Irvin who is forced out of the sport
or risk being brain dead.

Steve Park sounds like a retard.  Slinging his head about and slurring
and shit.  I hear his pit crew has to wipe drool off from his lip
during stops.  And I won't even mention the continency thing.

Yep.  Retard.  Steve Park sounds like a retard.  Drooling and mumbling
on pit road.  Crapping himself on occasion.  He never was much of a
driver.   He proved that 3 years ago.  Remember the broken leg?  Ernie
Irvan all over again.  Swerving and weaving all over the track.  Whats
he won?  3 times?  Even a blind pig finds an acorn occasionally.
He'll be gone at the end of the season.

Steve's speech is definitely still slurred...no question, but sounds like a
retard? The man had a wreck that damned near killed him. I think the fact
that he can even talk is pretty impressive, let alone get back in the car.

Huh?!? Where in hell did that come from?

Bullshit. His career totals are 2 wins and 29 top 10s. Dale Earnhardt or
Jeff Gordon he isn't, but he is still a top shelf driver.

I love the way you dismiss 3 Winston Cup wins as accidental (he has only won
twice). When is the last time you strapped a Cup car on your ass and won
one?

You may be right, but I hope not. Steve just isn't well yet and I hope DEI
gives him the chance to get back to form.

I believe he's alluding to the fact Steve Park  had a bout with food
poisoning on race and had to be replaced mid-race. Hardly something even
the most superhuman could control. The fact he hung in there as long as
he did is a credit to his staying power.

Agreed...I know I wouldn't want to be going around in circles with stomach
poisoning. I just hadn't heard that story. When was that? 2000?

Nope, It was this year. I can't remember the race.

Damn folks.  My comments were largely tongue in cheek.  I maintain
that his diction is absolutely not what it used to be.  To be
perfectly honest, he sounds medicated.  Yes I was refering to the
"Stomach Problem" with the "crapping himself on pit-road" comment.  I
have no problem with him personally, but I maintain that he is not the
calibre driver he once was.  I do not dismiss 2 or 3 wins as a small
feat.  Again my mis-guided  "blind hog" comments were directed at an
audience that I thought had a sense of humor.  I will try to be more
stoic and serious in the future.

Sorry bud. Most of us are used to dealing with ******s like Alan
Jones, ala "twenty-four" and his 24 different aliases, and as a result, we
are spring-loaded to attack rather than discuss. Most of us do have a sense
of humor. At least I think we do.  :-)

No harm, no foul...  at least you didn't suggest they repaint the car as a
little yellow school bus...
