by The Holland vs. England World Cup Qualifier on October 13 will
be televised in many parts of the US by Prime Network. A list of
regional CABLE sports networks affiliated with Prime Network
is included below. ALL Prime network affiliates
will televise the match LIVE from 2:00pm to 4:00pm Eastern Daylight
Time on October 13.
IMPORTANT: Since not all cable subscribers receive a Prime Network
affiliate on his/her cable system during the daytime hours, the
affiliates will repeat the telecast of the match later that evening
or perhaps later in the week. Please contact your Prime Network
affiliate for exact time and date of the rebroadcasts. The phone
numbers are available in _Broadcasting_and_Cable_Yearbook_
at most University libraries.
For those folks who get the Prime affiliate MSG from New York, the
telecast of the match will be repeated on October 13 at 11:45pm. Most
cable subscribers of MSG (including me) only get MSG after 7pm on weekdays.
[Notes: The match will NOT be televised by SportsChannel affiliates in
Philadelphia, Ohio (Cleveland), and Cincinnati. In New England, New York,
Florida, and Minnesota, only the Prime Network affiliates (but
not the SportsChannel affiliates) will televise the match.
Despite their names, SportsChannel Chicago and SportsChannel Pacific
are both Prime network affiliates.)
