Becks Teeth Row: Charity Shield Questionable

Becks Teeth Row: Charity Shield Questionable

David Beckham, as so many 26 year-olds will have, experienced great
discomfort over a sudden attack of wisdom tooth problems, "The Mirror" is
reporting (Back Page Title: "I'm sick to the Beck teeth").

His captaincy of England on Wednesday might be a go, but his presence on the
pitch for the Charity Shield match in Cardiff tomorrow (9 AM US EST, PPV1)
is said to be about 80%. He was to have undergone a fitness test today, but
the results are as yet unknown.

Rather than disappoint the 10,000 fans at United's training session on
Friday, he played under extreme discomfort, requesting ice-packs throughout
the 90 minute work out, but soon left the grounds and was rushed to have an
emergency impacted molar removal.

Cute Luke Chadwick is ready to substitute in case of the ManU skipper's
inability.

Geoff Hurst has weighed in with the opinion that David Beckham (with or
without molars) is quite overrated (I disagree but who am I compared to...)
and Michael Owen -- whose cavities probably needed doing, you know how those
21 years-old are with sweets -- has a poor first touch on ball.

Beckham is an overrated juvenile IDIOT.  I am not fan of Owen and Heskie
either, but I rather see Michael Owen as captain!
