Is the Bayern-Real tie over?

I was wondering what people think about the upcoming game... to be
perfectly honest, is this thing over or not? Coming back from 1-0 down at
the Olympic Stadium is quite a task... but now:
let's compare Real with ManU that had to do the exact same thing two weeks
ago:) In that game in Munchen, Bayern once again scored after some pathetic
defending... do you guys think Real will allow the same thing to happen?
I'm not trying to sound like a dreamer, because I realize Bayern are
favorites, but IMO this game will really be all about luck. Real are gonna
come out in their most attacking formation all season... and we know damn
well they can attack like the devil. Bearing in mind there's not gonna be
any Effenberg... isnt it just gonna come down to luck - which team has it on
the night. If Real are lucky, they'll probably hammer Bayern, and if Bayern
is lucky it'll be 0-0. Actually IMO this game in many aspects will be just
like a 1 leg game, everything down to the wire...
OK, what I mean is that I think the 1-0 will have little relevance in the
end. It's either gonan eb a clear win for Real, or a clear go through from
Bayern?
Ok, i amdit this dounds pretty stupid:) I dunno, just wanna hear some
thoughts...

My first thought is that you said Real doesn't care about the Champions
League, that they were focused on winning La Liga.  Surely they'll rest
some key players in anticipation of the important weekend tie?

And precisely what are you dreaming about if you don't care about CL?

I think I agree -- I can't see Bayern playing for and getting a 0-0 at
home.  This is probably wishful thinking, as I'd like to see them be a bit
more adventurous, rather than play for a shutout which will lead to a
rather dull game for neutrals.

I think Bayern will go through, but it won't be as easy as the last two
home games they had in the CL. (I say that as an Arsenal fan. Our
performance over there was woeful.)  Thats really sticking my neck out --
backing the favourite ;-)

(To complete the kiss of death shall I back Valencia in the other semi?
Just to help Leeds out you understand.)

Your guys have about the chances ours had in Madrid: most people thought
close to zero but actually either side can win.  The same is true next
week.  Although many "streaks" favor Bayern (esp never having lost a tie
in any European cup after an away win), "streaks are made to be broken"
and we all remember that no German team had ever won in Spain until last
year.

It actually happened twice in the CL semi finals ( and former Champions Cup).
