Ah sweet Benjamin.
If nobody wants to know the result then why post it?

Our love is like a ship on the ocean.
We are sailing with a cargo full of, love and devotion.
So I'd like to know where, you've put the lotion?
Said I'd like to know where, you've put the lotion?

Rock the boat, don't rock the boat baby.

If you support Aldershot like you claim to, then surely you can remember the
score and scorers.
Or...Is it the finer details such as dates, attendances and the fourth
official's inside leg measurements that you like to refer back to?

And as an RSS veteran, Ryan, you know you have to x-out the scores
when replying to a spoiler in header.

And may I just say, whenever I read an certain RSS'er's sweet posts to
the clown, encouraging him, patting him metaphorically on the back,
when he did "well" and didn't post scores in headers, etc., I always
laughed at him inside myself. Some people are just too trusting of
their fellow men, and they deserve everything they get from them.
Sucker.

I still don't see myself as a veteran or a regular. More like the distant
cousin who comes round to play when there's nothing of interest on
television.

My mother doesn't think of herself as old either, but she is.

The Stoke locally ...

Exactly. And "Basing" had a team of their own - Basing Rovers up until five
years ago.

Replying to a Ryan post as I've got Ben Smith killfiled :

Ben, If you refer back this much to results / grounds / crowds etc., why not
keep a web site rather than flooding a news group ? Hell, it's even easier
to refer to a notebook that to search through news group postings if you
find you want to refer back to something later.
