Hello, mal d'occhio, ojo malo, mal de olho, the weuxf gods, are
nothing to snicker about. I myself believe most strongly in luck
regards to sport.

Although if my dad's comment is right where he said if macumba really
existed...there would've been no Campeonato Bahiano. Axe!

Spain had about 30 shots on target, they were camped in the Norway box
for the majority of the match. They should have won by 5-6 goals.

Some days ago I acted as a weekly guide in Istanbul for an Italian couple,
they are good friends of me. At some point they discovered Turkish people
use a characteristic amulet against bad luck and mal'occhio, called Nazar or
Mavi Boncuk (bondjuk), then they began to ask me to help them to buy some of
those. In a week, with only 5 days available for shopping, they bought more
than 40 of those. I guess they didn't noticed the nowadays defunct mobile
company Blu S.p.A.(*) copied its own logo from the very same design of that,
not to add also that Mavi in Turkish means nonetheless than blue .. ;-)

(*) Also infamous due their now really ironic ads: "Blu, il futuro che non
c'era" (Blu, the future that was not).

The Spanish oughta be cursing Espen Johnsen, not bad luck.

What is it about Johnsen that makes him look like a goalkeeper who
would have been at home in the 1950s - Football League, Third
Division (North)?
