by 3 days ago Torino AC's President , Borsano , announced that Milan AC bought
the middlefield player Lentini paying for him about 40 billion liras
(about 30 million USA $) .
Lentini in the next four years will get 8 billion liras per season , plus a
not-precised lot of money for the managing of his worldwide image , bought
by another of the many companies owned by Milan AC , Silvio Berlusconi .
The entire amount of the economic operation is near 65 billion liras ,
the biggest lot of money ever spent in Italian (and world) soccer .
Torino's president said also that the operation has been concluded in March,
although the soccer players market has opened only yesterday morning .
First president Borsano and Galliani (Milan AC general manager) has concluded
the deal , but the player didn't agree on that fact , he wanted to remain
in his team , or at least in his own town (the other Torino's team is
Juventus ) , so the deal get stopped .
So president Borsano accepted to keep the player anymore , and tried to
keep the player for the next 3 years , at this point the story seemed
finished , but last tuesday the sudden news about the resuscitated deal
has shocked the entire italian soccer world .
Now Borsano doesn't want to let the player go away , and declared the deal
is invalidated , because it has been concluded in March , so Matarrese ,
Italian soccer federation president , opened an investigation about the
case .
