Sport Today

I am planning to go to Detroit to watch Brazil and Sweden,
but the game is on a Tuesday and I need to fly in and out
on the same day.  

I would appreciate if somebody could tell me how long
it takes to drive from the Airport to the Pontiac Silverdo
me (taking into account traffic because of the game).

        Official directions as given to me by the WC 94 Detroit office are as
follows:

I-94 West to I-275 North to I-696 East to M-24 (Telegraph road) North to
Square Lake Raod East to first exit, Opdyke Road.  Turn right at stop
sign, proceed to light, turn right.  Silverdome is 1 mile on left.  OR:
I-94 East to M-24 North (Telegraph Road), then as above.  OR:  I-94 East
to I-75 North to M-59 West to first exit, Opdyke road.  Turn right on
Opdyke road.  Sileverdome on corner of Opdyke and M-59 roads.  The travel
estimate sounds about right, just play it by ear as for traffic
conditions route etc.

Plan on 1 to 1.5 hrs......Best route is likely I-94 E to I-75N..Takes you
straight to the Silverdome.....Construction going on now on I-75...don't know
for how much longer.....Write back if you want..a few days before you leave and
I can give you a reading.....Just in case, alternate route is I-94E to North
Bound Southfield Freeway (US 10) to I-696E to I-75 North....
