Not that this is going to settle it, but do we know *why* he picked up the yellow?

Was it:

a) He dived
b) He complained too loud and too long
c) His reputation

RstJ
wishing I had the sequence on .avi to check it over.

He also dived previously after making a nice run through the South Korean
defence. Instead of shooting he took it too far and the last defender got in
a tackle. At which point Totti flopped. Play waved on.
Another incident after a tussle with a SKean, he grabbed his face as if
elbowed. SloMo replay showed no contact at all.

With all his talents and skills, I just wish the guy could play like a
man instead of reverting to such cheap theatrics.

: He also dived previously after making a nice run through the South Korean
: defence. Instead of shooting he took it too far and the last defender got in
: a tackle. At which point Totti flopped. Play waved on.

: elbowed. SloMo replay showed no contact at all.

He's got a future in acting, oh yeah. But the question still remains:

a) he starts going down, or gets tripped up
b) he goes into his routine

Does he get dinged for going down, or for the acting/complaining after the fact?

I really wish I could find an interview with the ref where he states what the card
was for.

RstJ
not that it would have changed the outcome, but just for love of knowledge.

He's Italian...he was taught to how to dive before he was taught how to run.
