West Ham and the transfer market

Could anyone please tell me what's going on at Upton Park these days.
I here that John Moncer wants to leave and that the Hammers are
interested in signing Mark Bright from Sheffield Wednesday. Could
anyone expand on such hypotheses ?

It shows that we are becoming more and more a second class outfit. A
player who rises slightly above the Upton Park mire immediately
becomes a target for the bigger clubs. There is no chance of keeping
hold of any of these players these days. If they're half decent and
younger than 28, they're grabbed by the multi-millionaires.

Yes it is sad the Hammers look destined to a season of fighting
relegation. the problem is West Ham do not have the glamour image of
Arsenal or Spurs who can fill their executive boxes with major
companies.

Your customers walking from Upton Park tube to West Ham's ground is
not an executives idea of a day out.

How many go down this season?
If West Ham do fight who knows there may be worse teams.
