Bundesliga 28 Bayern title week

Post by Binder Dunda » Sat, 06 Apr 2013 06:47:53

If I am such an ABBM, why would I declare this Bayern Title week?  You
see, I am OK with BM?  We would all be constipated if we were always
ABBM's.  Gonna keep this short, I am getting the urge to have a BM
soon, too much Green tea I think?  Sorry, I dont want to disgust
people by talking about BM's.  OK, I think I beat the BM out of the BM
reference.  Pulling a David Letterman now, geeez, what am I gonna do
next, a weekly top ten BM list?  And this weeks number one BM goes
to...The Amazing Burt Wunderstone  ( I actually am going to watch that
tonight or tomorrow)

Hoffenheim - Dsseldorf (Fr.)  -:- (-:-)
Hey! Hoff got a new coach and nobody seemed to care?  I believe the
rule of new coaches is they always win the first game?
2-0

Dortmund - Augsburg (Sa.)       -:- (-:-)
Dortmund forgot their shooting boots at home this week, so they should
put 10 past Augsburg now.
5-0

Gladbach - Frth       -:- (-:-)
Hey!  Furth got a  new coach too a few weeks ago, did I mention that
last time?  Did the new coach winning the first game thing work for
them?
3-1

Leverkusen - Wolfsburg  -:- (-:-)
Kiessling is probably having a BM over not getting picked by J Low?
2-2

Bremen - Schalke        -:- (-:-)
One more win for Bremen and I wont BM all over their terrible season
and I wont bring up BM anymore.
2-1

Frankfurt - Bayern      -:- (-:-)
Oh wait, I have to mention BM, they are playing.  If I was such an
ABBM, would I pick them to win this game?????
1-3

Hamburg - Freiburg      -:- (-:-)
After a team has had the BM kicked out of them do they come back and
win the next week?  How does that usually work?
2-2

Nrnberg - Mainz (So.)         -:- (-:-)
1-2

See no crass BM refrences

Hannover - Stuttgart    -:- (-:-)
I suppose I could mention, that Dortmund complained last week, about
how whenever they play VfB, the Stuttgart players continually beat the
BM out of them.  Both these teams are playing like a big steamy BM.
The Aristocrats!!!!

Normally we come back after a defeat. But 9 goals are a lot to come back
from. Anyway, if this is a must win game if we want to keep playing for
an EL spot.

Hannover at home, now that they managed an away win? 3-1.

It was halftime, but with a 3-0 score you got zero points anyway.

3-0. Dsseldorf is in trouble now.

HT in the Saturday games.

Two quick at the end of the half and it's now 1-2!

Not a very exciting game so far. Notable events are Shaqiri with a nice

0-1. Sublime backheel from Schweinsteiger after a flat cross from Lahm.

At the hour mark Ribery and Gustavo on for Robben and Mller. Later on
Pizarro on for Gomez.

First big chance for Frankfurt. Substitute Lakic completely free in front
of goal, but shoots right on Neuer.

Bayern champions for the 23th time. Earliest ever championship by both
round and date. Heynckes oldest winning coach.

Frankfurt finally made some pressure in the last 10-15 minutes and
had a penalty claim for a Dante handball.

Good luck, Pep...

So what's the current status in the rest of the league?

Relegation:
- Fuerth are gone.
- Hopp and Augsburg battling for the play off spot
- D'dorf and Werder are as good as safe, but a major surge by the above
coupled with an awful run of D'dorf or Werder could still endanger them

Lower midtable mediocrity:
- Stuttgart, VW, Nuernberg. For Nuernberg this must count as a major
success, for the other two it's a disappointment

EL hopefulls:
- this is by far the biggest group
- 96, HSV, Freiburg, Mainz, Gladbach, Frankfurt
- any team of these that starts a decent run has a very good chance
- HSV won't start a run, at least not a positive one
- looking at the remaining schedule 96, Freiburg and Frankfurt should be
favourites, but of course Frankfurg have a*** of a second half of a
season - so SCF and 96 would be my bet.

CL
- pretty much a done deal as well
- Schalke seem to have turned it around and should keep their spot
- Bayer and BVB don't need to turn anything to keep them

Overall a pretty boring end to the season, all races bar the EL and the
relegation po should be decided before the last few rounds.

30 mins played, 0-0.

I missed the first 9 minutes in which Freiburg hit post and bar each in
one incident. Later on Arslan missed a simple bounce and a Rosenthal
made it through with only the keeper to beat, but Adler was already
there and stole the ball.

Later on HSV put through Son whose shot/cross was tackled right onto the
keeper, but the rebound went out of bounds about a meter besides the
goal.

Between minutes 25 and 30 there were two valid penalty claims by HSV
when Westermann was wrestled down in the box twice.

Funny situation afterwards: HSV win a throw in, do a foul throw. SCF get
the throw in, and do a foul throw themselves...

HSV has been the better team for the past 15 minutes or so, but is
rarely threatening. 0-0 sounds about right (apart from the pen claims,
of course).
