Collina to ref the Final??

The FIFA card deck seems to be stacked against England. It will be interesting
to see what happens and who Refs the game vs. Brazil.

TEAMS: (Strictly my personal opinion.. I could be biased/wrong)

Best defense in the World Cup: England
Now you guys should never complain about playing defensively.. because when
Italians put 10 men at the back.. its boring.. but when England does it..
its very intelligent... =^)

Best midfield in the World Cup: Senegal
It almost does not seem to exist.. given the speed at which they transition
between defense and attack!!

Most Fun to watch: South Korea and Senegal
I would have to add Argentina to that list too. If only Batistuta was
injured.. If only Batistuta missed the team bus to Miyagi. If only Sorin cut
his hair to reduce drag that prevented him from putting away two sitters, if
only Saviola was on the bench instead of Caniggia.. if only I can stop
thinking about it.. =^)

Most Unlucky team in the World Cup: Italy.
COMMON they had not 1,2,3,4 but FIVE goals disallowed!! You HAVE to feel a
bit of sympathy for them.

Most Intelligent team: England and USA
Both recognize/respect the fact that they are less talented than their
opposition, and they have come up with some of the best tactics.

Comeback Kings: Ireland
Never say die attitude till the very last minute.

My pick for the World Cup Winners?
England to beat Germany 4-2 in the Final.. =^)
But if it goes to penalties.. Hehe... There can be onle ONE winner.
After all History does repeat itself
- Champions knocked out in the group stage.
- Italians lose to the Koreans
- England beat Argentina 1-0

I personally want Senegal to win the World Cup, but they showed glimpses of
their inexperience against Uruguay.

My World Cup ended with Argentina bowing out.. so it has been a really easy
few days for me. No more pressure while watching the games.. just enjoying
it all!

we dont put 10 men at the back
where the hell did this come from?

Sinclair, Scholes, Beckham are all attacking midfielders
only ***is the holding man, and he is great coming forward too.

what crap!
england has one of the best teams on paper in the whole world.
part of our problem is why the heck dont we play as well as we should
we have among the best defenders, 2 world class midfielders and 1 close to
world class(butt)
and one of the worlds best strikers
who has decided england is playing boring because they have a ***team?
its complete bollocks.

From watching England's matches in this WC so far?

David.
Although it's closer to 8 men. Heskey and Owen up front with Beckham
the link man in midfield.

obviously not, since we didnt do that most of the time

we had one shit half vs sweden
a rearguard 15-20 mins vs argentina
no one wanted to play in nigeria game (them included)
and 3-0 up at half time, what do you want them to do?

So you played with 8 men in defense 200 minutes out of a possible 360,
more than half the time, and yet "we dont put 10 men at the back"?

David.
