West-Ham won Liverpool in Upton-Park by the leading of the talented
playmaker Eyal Berkovic. He was the 1st to every midfield ball and was
unfraid to tackle great Ince and take from him the ball. He cut
Liverpool's
defence with their pence down many times by his great passes but Hartson
and Dawie was'nt on target, till the 16th-minute: Berkovich rock the
post from 20 meters and Hartson rebound the ball in. 1-0
Andey Impey tried also but David-James was in the place.
Robbie Fowler tied with a beautiful Volley in the 52th-minute but it was
useless when West-Ham re-took the lead and won the game. 66th-minute:
David Unsworth crosses into the box, Hartson head it to Phil Babb, which
head it out, Berkovic with a powerful Volley shot the ball flatly from
20 meters to James's low-right side. 2-1

The Man of the Match was Eyal-Berkovic. His Rate:  9\10.
