Liverpool have appointed Ian Rush as their Captain for next season, according to Radio 5.  Isn't he a bit old??

I have a couple of questions about the Supercup to be played in
Washington next month.  First, how are ticket sales going?  When we
called to get tix, we were shocked to find that first class seats were
one hundred dollars a pop.  This is three times what the USA Cup cost.
Are they expecting a flood of Italians to fill the stands to support
their clubs regardless of cost?  Or maybe i underestimate the AMerican
soccer public...

My other question is how seriously do the Italian clubs take the
Supercup?  It seems as though a preseason match like this that has no
bearing on where the teams end up in the European cups or their own
league might not be quite so important when the whole season lies ahead.
I believe there used to be a cup like this in Spain but it was
discontinued.  So will Milan and Torino be sending their best squads
intent on a win or just skeleton squads with the stars resting up for
the regular season?

$100.00 a seat?????? I bought 4th row seats from Ticketmaster for $50.00
each. I was never quoted a $100.00 price range by the operator.
