You see, some people do not need every little curtesy forced upon
themselves, they do them out of their own free will. Take a look at rss,
we only get spoilers in headers from the Ben Smith cunt, everybody else
seems to have some consideration for the other readers.

The problem is that little troll Ben Smith cross posts to so many groups.
Certainly, the Newcastle group has no qualms about posting scores relating
to our games, as it's obviously something we're particularly interested in
(as it happens) and we all know if we don't want to hear a score, we don't
go to the group. If people replying to his posts do not realise that other
groups have such customs (and if they don't visit, they wouldn't) then this
is likely to happen.

Anyway, I think this deserves a wider audience now. Ben is the one on the
right!!

so he systematically posts Newcastle's results to rss even though you ask
him not to?

He systematically posted all scores to RSS, even after being told
numerous times that its not a good idea. Then he promised not to post
scores in headers, and continued posting them anyway. That was when he
was known as Ronald MacDonald. Since then he has posted about 10 posts a
day with a line or two of text. When asked to send it all in a daily
package, he said he would, then promptly continued posting all these
small posts. At one point he posted the daily update _and_ numerous
daily posts. Now he got back to posting scores in headers. He really is
a little ***er, isnt he.

How do you then explain that everytime he touches the ball in the
Southampton half, it turns into a dangerous counter attack for the Saints?

No, it can't be, surely not, I don't believe it - now I understand!

If it is - fantastic post
If it isn't - fantastic post

At last - something has made me smile - my kids recognise me again.

I assume she has kill filed him, the problem was that the reply to the post
still had the score in it

Indeed, but at least in my tin newsreader, only the initial
posts in a thread are killed--follow-ups still carry the subject line.  So
when folks follow-up they need to x out the scores.

How petty moaning about the scores in the subject header line.
