But whom shall I copy? Milivella is deliberately taking far too long to
choose these days!

Well, in that  case this is the absolutely obvious choice. But I think
that goals in the shootout should most definitely not count (even though
I know you want to declare this game over already)

Yep. Shootout goals don't count towards official statistics, why should they
count here?

Under that "official stats" argument, I can begrudgingly accept that extra
time goals should count. But an argument can be made that this is an unfair
advantage for a few matches over all the others in a FOtB perspective.

I think I had something to do with this in the original rules, have
certainly posted about it before... but it might not go all the way anyway,
save any potential criticism against me then!!!

Penalties count for half a point anyway!!!

Not self righteous much?

I never suggested catenaccio is beautiful football, I suggested counter
attacking football is beautiful because it's quick and needs to be precise,
instead of boring tik-tak possession football. At least tell he truth LOL

The game is all about goals, admittedly focusing on range, not time or
situation, but I'll stand firm for now, I'm sure I mentioned this somewhere
else in the past!!!

Well, there should be no argument, it's up to each player whether they pick
it or not... but point taken!!!

I'm not going to pick it, that's for sure, there is doubt on all the players
from both squads as they play two days prior to this meeting, it stands as
it is for now, I'll make up my mind in 24 hours time, hopefully more players
can post their thoughts!!!

Anyone who picked Liverpool v Southampton would have got points, I'm
consistent with this aspect of the game, official goal rulings as per
association are final!!!

Now, it is unprecedented, but I'd like to know what happens if the goal is
changed by the dubious goals panel, and specifically how it impacts on this
game!!!

A counter attack can happen in any type of football. This is basic stuff.
You want me to explain it?

Fair enough, doesn't mean it wasn't a bogus goal. The deflection was
ridiculous. The shot was going no where. I'm suprised it was even given in
the EPL.
