Too right !  England fans always seem to be in the center of trouble,
why?

Well I guess supporters were warned not to travel without tickets and is
a great pity for those many fans that do behave themselves.

Always? So there was trouble at England-Poland, Georgia-England,
England-Italy, England-Georgia, Poland-England, England-Moldova,
England-Mexico, England-South Africa, England-Italy (in Le Tournoi),
France-England, Brazil-England, England-Cameroon, England-Chile,
Switzerland-England, England-Portugal, Morocco-England and
Belgium-England, was there? Or, indeed, at Newcastle-Cratia Zagreb,
Croatia Zagreb-Newcastle, Atletico Madrid-Leicester,
Leicester-Atletico Madrid, PAOK Salonika-Arsenal, Arsenal-PAOK
Salonika, Celtic-Liverpool, Liverpool-Celtic, Bordeaux-Aston Villa,
Aston-Villa-Bordeaux, Slovan Bratislava-Chelsea, Chelsea-Slovan
Vratislava, Newcastle-Barcelona, Kosice-Man U, Dinamo
Zagreb-Newcastle, Juventus-Man U, Strasbourg-Liverpool,
Liverpool-Starsbourg, Bilbao-Aston Villa, Aston Villa-Bilbao,
Chelsea-Tromso, Tromso-Chelsea, PSV-Newcastle, Man U-Feyenoord,
Newcastle-PSV, Steaua Bucharest-Aston Villa, Aston Villa-Steau
Bucharest, Barcelona-Newcastle, Man U-Kosice, Newcastle-Dinamo Kiev,
Juventus-Man U, Atletico Madrid-Aston Villa, Aston Villa-Atletico
Madrid, Real Betis-Chelsea, Chelsea-Real Betis, Monaco-Man U, Man
U-Monaco, Vicenza-Chelsea, Chelsea-Vicenza, Chelsea-Stutgart. Unless
there was trouble at *all* these matches (and there was none at any of
them that I heard of) then you are making a wholly inaccurate and
misleading statement.

Er, actually they were invited to travel by the French tourist board.

..that we have to sffer such sweeping generalisations like yours.

Pretty much, though I had to check a couple of the European matches
against the obscurer Eastern European sides. It just goes to show the
vast number of matches where England fans travel to another country,
or welcome fans from another country into thier own, with little or no
trouble.

I do recall that there they did confirm that the names on tickets
would not be checked.
