THIS MAY BE THE BEST FOOTIE CHANT EVER WRITTEN

If this isn't the best football chant ever written, I'll get me coat.

To the tune of Yellow Submarine...

In the land, where I was born, Lives a man, with a monkey's heed, And he
went to Sunderland, And his name, is Peter Reid. [altogether now] Peter
Reid's got a f***in' monkey's heed, A f***in' monkey's heed, A f***in'
monkey's heed, Peter Reid's got a f***in' monkey's heed, A f***in' monkey's
heed, A f***in' monkey's heed.

Of course if you know better then post it here, or for ever hold your peas.

There is a book on football chants of the UK...
It's called "Dicks Out 2", and I recommend it to everyone

I personally like 'F*ck off Mark McGhee' which is sung to the tune of
'Daydream Believer' by the Monkies.  The Tannoy announcer/dj takes great
delight in playing it two or three times before the kick off of every
game played at Filbert St.
