You make me sick. This whole grouop makes me sick. All this ***ing
about referees, cheating, rigging, etc. Brainless blabla. You were
outplayed from the first to the last minute. Swedish papers talk about
how it could have been a 7-0. And you in this effing group just can't
stop ***ing.

There's no doubt Sweden were outplayed and Germany were worthy winners
but that doesn't excuse the whole Lucic episode.

It's not only this scene, it is a constant current in rss that rises at
the occasion of a WC or EC.

No, I am not like you.

We agree that he helped us by obeyeing the rules.

I am sorry that Simon made this dubious call. You obviously are not
because it gives you the opportunity to blame everything on the ref. The
second yellow for Lucic was as much a joke as the behaviour of Simon and
the penalty in the second half. But when Lucic was off,  the ball had
already kissed the back of the Swedish net twice without the help from
anybody.  You sound as if a Swedish comeback had been a given if Lucic
had stayed on even though the Swedes had to turn the run of play upside
down. Man, if  the Germans had not decided to take the game easy in the
second half the result would have been a disaster for Sweden. Read your
papers. They have a more realistic view of the game than you have.

Cheers,

Ingo

Giese! It was the ref who told the Swedish defence to fall back and let
the Germans score easy goals :-) Even Robbie and I could have scored
there :-D

Yup. But the same can be said about the German team. Both teams are
physically strong.

Hey, finally I can agree with you. There's no denying that it was
difficult for you to come back after Lucic was sent off.
The ref spoiled the game to some extent, and this is a shame. But
saying, we needed help to win, as you did, is too much of an
exaggeration, since Sweden was totally outplayed in the first half, and
your defence looked worse than ours.  However, the loss doesn't take
anything away from the Swedish team. Everybody knows Sweden is a very
good side, which can beat any of the big teams that thinks itself safe.

Cheers,

Ingo

Somehow, after watching ENG - ECU I'm glad I'm not you (not that I were
previously, either).

England can win it all! :-)

Yes, you are right. I now see my mistake. I now agree that Sweden
totally dominated the play and should have scored at least ten goals.
I now uderstand the wisdom of the original post:

Quote:

Yes, indeed, Sweden lost only because:

1. Podolski was credited with the goal, which should instead have been
credited to  Sweden as a brilliant self-goal. Thus, instead of 2-0, the
score would have been 1-1.

and

2. The damn ref was breathing, which distracted the Swede from scoring
on the penalty shot. It's all ref's fault.

Quote:

> Look at the facts:

Incredible facts!

And as a penalty for these crimes, the ref should be shot himself.

Would you guys like some cheese with your whine?
