If you use the right mouse button when clicking on "done" to advance the
game then this will advance the calendar on a daily basis as opposed to
using the left mouse button which generally advances the game to the next
fixture (something else left out of the manual - thanks to DOMARK for the
great manual!)

What sort of postpone feature do you mean?

oh, I goofed, I thought that only the upper left "auto mode" button will
advance the calender to the most current event,....never mind, I got Bobic
(SUPERB SUPERB striker,1 zillion times better than any other, scoring at
least 2 goals when he plays), although he is easy to get injured and I
brought home with Savio from Brazil.
Anyways, I will still try Ravanelli next season (getting too Italian now,
like to bench top player) as my 7th foreigner.

:   What sort of postpone feature do you mean?
postone game, I heard that from Andrew Fleming (Data group) that I could
postpone a match if the schedule is too close to each other, am I correct?

Thanks

No this is not correct - I think it was a suggestion - this may have only
referred to when you have to many of your players on international duty.
Otherwise the fixture system is pretty much right - you have to play a
lot of games in the English leagues but you will always have at least
three days between matches.

It might be nice if on occassional days a number of fixtures are
postponed due to bad weather. Especially in the lower leagues where
undersoil heating is non existant. It would lead to a more realistic (
if annoying ) season.

That's news to me!

I think he means that the club should be able to postpone matches for
strategic reasons .... for your information, Man Utd. has postponed
the match with Newcastle for one day and Keegan is not happy ....

Three days? I believe I have matches on Saturdays then on the next
Mondays!

I have a week which I have to play Newcastle and Liverpool in 2
days (due to the re-scheduleing and re-play match-up)...that's why I am
thinking of postponing a game. Never mind, I won all the games already.

O.K. I should have said nearly always 3 days - when there are so many
games scheduled etc this is necessary to fit them all in.

I think there is an hidden stat: class (e.g. world class). I've bought
a generated Holland striker with all ***s and 20s but he doesn't do
well. Now I pay more attention to my scouts and they seem to do fine
jobs.

I think it varies from game to game.  I play Ferdinand, Bobic and Fowler
as strikers.  He got 60 goals and 54 assists for me ...

yeap, his value got changed when I created another game. He is now a ***
player. I'll stick with Ravanelli, Fonseca, Kluivert and Leonenko.

amazing stat for Leonenko!

no there is not - it's the ability and potential ability rating which
determines how good a player is or could become (these are obviously
hidden ratings and can be variable to an extent for some players so they
may be different each time you start a new game

Yeh as above there is some sort of flexibility each time you start a new
game - so the best players may not be the best players every time you
start a new game.

We can fire them :P
You can search players by selecting "Recommended by ... Scout" and
your scout will pick his recommendations.
