season after fracturing his wrist in a freak accident at home.
The former England international said, "I was just messing about at home and
toppled over, I fell awkwardly and my wrist seemed to take most of the
weight.
"It is definitely fractured and I will be seeing a specialist in the next
couple of days to find out the full extent of the damage. I don't yet know
how long it will take to heal but I don't think I'll play again this season.
"It is a blow because I was hoping to help the team finish on a high but
there's not a lot I can do about it."
The 35 year old is currently Spurs top scorer this season with 15 goals, but
the club have had a quite season, with no trophy's to show and no European
berth for next season.
