Let me tell you that I was about to praise Teddy Lucic for his
previous performances, but just now, he failed to intercept the
poacher par-excellence, Miroslav Klose, who somehow, though falling
after Isaksson lept to Klose's foot to stop a certain goal, the German
somehow got it to his forward partner, Podolski, who shot it with
conviction at goal. A beautifully strong, Germanic kind of goal.
Fighting, with heart, and determination. Well, let's see. This might
mean the death of this match, as Sweden become desperate, and the
German defensive korps stifle Zlatan, but perhaps Ljungberg can come
up trumps again. Either way, early goals, and late winners, seem to be
the story of WC 2006!

Yipes. I think that Germany are playing above their talent at the
moment, in large part to being at home, but even so, they are playing
EXCELLENTLY, and frankly, they will win if they get to the Final. No
doubt of that -- just on crowd support alone, which sends shivers down
your spine.
BTW, don't lose heart Swedes, last time you scored 2 goals, after
taking early ones early...in WC 1974, the last time these two sides
met in the World Cup.
OTOH, Germany won that match, 4-2...we'll see.
P.S.: Klose is not just tall striker with a killer instinct like
Trezeguet. He's got some ball skills man. Twice already, he has
dribbled beautifully, with great panache. I like him.

GLOBO have been very funny just now, saying that Klose has not yet
scored, but watch out for that "Salto Mortal".
Deadly Jump. :)
