Are any other Saints fans willing back me up here?
Southampton 2- L'pool 1
Goals from Le Tiss and Egil (Ostenstad) vs. goal from Owen.
Please don't laugh too hard.

What the hell, I'll add my tuppence worth...

Saints 3 - Liver Birds 2

Saints goals from Hughes (always scares the Liverpool defence - remember
Chelsea turning a 0-2 into a 4-2 after Sparky came on), Le God (penalty) and
Ripley (cross-cum-shot fooling Friedel).
Liverpool's scored by Owen (who will have a field day against the useless
Beresford) and Berger (he'll get loads of room because Saints will be
doubling up on Owen).

If you've all stopped laughing about Ripley scoring then feel free to add to
this...

Al.

It is a walk-all-over.
Southampton 0  Liverpool 3

Could have been 6 if not for reserves coming on for Owen, Macmanaman,
Riedle.

Southampton 1-1 Liverpool
Liverpool to play attractive football, create loads of chance during the
first 80 minutes, but only score once then Le Tissier to equalise with a
wonder goal a couple of minutes from time.

IIRC Liverpool struggled to a draw in the same fixture last season and were
beaten at home by the Saints. Don't be so***y.
