A bit of UK news

Hello again,

I've just been looking through my paper (newspaper) and I've just come
across some football (soccer) news.

Firstly
The European Super Cup is to be played over one leg, winner takes all.
The winner could then call themselves Champions of Europe.
The match will be between Manchester United and Red Star Belgrade at
Old Trafford on November 19 (tuesday night).
Secondly
Liam Brady has been charged with a drink-driving offence, hours after
Celtic were beaten by Neuchatel (sp?). Brady's car was stopped in the
early hours of Thursday (7th November) morning. Brady gave his address
as c/o Celtic Park.
Thirdly
Another Irish star is in the news. It appears as though George Best
is finally on his way to paying off his debts and getting back into
Black. This is all thanks to strong sales of his book and video
autobiography entitled "The Good The Bad And The Bubbly". This
announcement was on the same day that his girlfriend filed for
bankruptcy.

Also a small bit of other news Liverpool are prepared to sell DEAN
SAUNDERS, only 4 months after buying him for a British record of 2.9
million ponuds. Leeds could be the team that buys him for 3 million.
As the saying goes "Footballs a funny old game".

Cheers   Martin
