IDLE THOUGHTS

Anaheim snapped its 4-game losing streak vs Seattle... Dallas
(13-10) snaps a 3-game losing streak and snaps Indy's 2-game win
streak on Friday... Detroit's 4-game winning streak snapped
vs Washington... Seattle (8-16) has the worst record in the CISL...
Detroit (11-11) splits the home-and-home series with Washington
(12-11)... Monterrey bumps Houston (14-9), who has a 3-game losing
streak from first with a 7-3 victory on the road... Anaheim (11-11)
ends the 3-game West trip this week at 1-2 to fall back to .500 with
a 9-6 loss to Sacramento (13-11)... Monterrey (15-8) wins its 5th in
a row to become the first team to clinch a playoff spot on Sunday with
a 6-3 victory over Indianapolis (8-16), who ties Seattle for the worst
record in the league... Portland (9-14) prevented San Diego (13-10) from
clinching a playoff spot... Houston and San Diego can clinch playoff
spots with any win or Portland loss next week... Although the current
top 8 teams are in good shape to clinch the 8 playoff berths, only 3.5
games separate the top team and the 8th place team.
