***ING lucky! West Ham were all over them throughout the game, and somehow
Cheaterpoo seem to pull another one out of their asses... Champions of
Europe my ass...

Liverpool winning the Champions League was just as lucky as Greece winning
the Euros in 04.

No skill... Pure luck...

Thats all.

West Ham, no matter how much they dominated (which, IMO, isn't as much
as others have claimed) scored two of their goals via an OG and a
cross which luckily went in. They were damn luck even to get to extra
time.

What are the chances of a team winning 2 cup finals in successive years
both by penalty shootout after a 3-3 scoreline, after being 0-3(!!) and
0-2/2-3 down?? If it's not luck then there's got to be some sort of
voodoo shrine somewhere in the manager's office...

Anyone serious enough about avoiding spoilers should watch the game
first before visiting RSS.

(a) The Hammer goals looked more lucky to me, 'Pool's were all damn good
goals; (b) how exactly did they cheat?

West Ham were unlucky on the day. But that Gerrard goal made the match
worth watching

That's not point. People might watch the game live, a day later, a week
later or the day before kick off.
It's polite protocol in the newsgroup to not post scores in headers.

Actually that *is* the point. Watch the damn game first b4 visiting a
soccer *news*group if you're serious about avoiding spoilers.

I'm not trying to be polite.
