Tranmere Rovers

As a knowledgeable Tranmere fan I can honestly say that Johnny King's
Super White Army are on their way to Wembley. Aston Villa will be beaten
comfortably over two legs, and, Tranmere's cultured football, amongst the
best in the country, will be where it belongs, at Wembley. The Rovers are
not newcomers to the hallowed turf of course: they won the Leyland Daf
Trophy and the 3rd division play off final against Bolton, not to mention
their unforgettable first appearance, in 1988. Tranmere, then stuck in mid
table mediocrity in the 4th division, outplayed Newcastle, Wimbledon, who
went on to win the FA Cup, and Notts. Forest, only to lose to them on
penalties in the semi-finals of the Centenary Tournament. Two further
appearances in a 3rd division play off final, and another Leyland Daf Trophy
final, make Tranmere one of the most experienced teams around at Wembley.
I'm sure everyone outside Manchester will be cheering them on in the Coca
Cola Cup Final.
Anyone who doesn't agree with what I've said clearly doesn't know what
they are talking about - Tranmere's style of play, with two of the best
wingers in the country in Nevin and Morrissey, and Aldridge up front, means
they have consistently scored more goals than virtually any other team in
the country over the last 3/4 seasons. The wide Wembley pitch will
certainly give Man. Utd more problems than most Premier League teams.

I think that should stay as Notts.Forest as Saturdays results prove
that there is only one team in Nottingham :-)

Anyway, thats all irrelevant because theres only one team in the
East Midlands !!! Derby County FC !!!!
