FOOTBALL: SPURS WANT BOBAN

AC MILAN star Zvonimir Boban tops Tottenham boss Glenn Hoddle's wanted list.

The former Croatia captain is out of contract and planning to retire after
10 years with the Serie A giants.

But Hoddle wants the 50-times capped 32-year-old to help him rebuild Spurs.
Boban has also had offers from Turkey, Japan and Hadjuk Split in his
homeland.

He said: "Right now I don't know what I'm going to do. I'm on holiday and
I'll make up my mind after that."

He's about the right age for Spurs.

What worries me more is the defense now that Sol has turned gooner -- yes,
BSCS (Bitter Spurs Chick Syndrome).

Has anyone heard anything about the Chamot-to-Tottenham rumours heard a week
ago? (Apart from his visit to WHL, i.e.)
A good replacement, I think.

Since he's not even good enough for Milan's bench anymore, he's probably
right for Spurs. Pity the deal was off.
