Houston's (8-5) franchise-record 5-game win streak was snapped in a
10-4 loss to Anaheim... Seattle (2-10) snapped their 8-game
losing streak with a 6-5 upset win over Sacramento... Anaheim (7-3)
extended their winning streak to 4... Monterrey (8-4) finally regains
the Eastern Division lead with a 3-2 overtime victory in Washington
(6-4), who have lost 2 in a row to drop from first to fourth in the
East... Indianapolis (4-8) won 2 in a row for the first time and 3
in a row at home with an upset 6-5 overtime victory over Dallas; but
saw both streaks end with an 8-4 loss to Portland (6-6), who have won
2 in a row... the Sockers (4-6) have lost 3 in a row and 6 of their
past 7 games to fall into an 8th place tie in the CISL with Detroit
(4-6), who have lost 2 in a row... Before Friday's games, there was
a 4-way tie for first in the East (Washington, Dallas, Houston, and
Monterrey)... with approximately 1/3 of the games completed, the
head coaches for the All-Star game in Phoenix will be the ones on top
of each division (Monterrey's Erich Geyer for the East All-Stars and
Anaheim's Ian Fulton for the West All-Stars)... Sacramento (7-7)
snapped a 2-game losing streak to climb back to .500 and got its
revenge with the SeaDogs with a 5-1 victory on Sunday; after losing
at Seattle on Friday.
