I say 2-1 to Man Utd - Paul Scholes with the first - Fowler to equalise
and Cantona to score with a penalty :-)

It'll be the clash of the duds - with both Cole and Collymore ineffective
infront of goal - but Andy will help in the build for the 1st goal - and
get up-ended by Ruddock for the penalty.

I would like to invite all Manchester United Fans to predict the outcome of
possibly the clash of the season at Anfield this coming Sunday.

Thank you.

Based on the fact that Liverpool seem to be without Ruddock and
Redknapp and United are without Keane, a draw seems the safe bet.
Schmeichal and Giggs are back for United so there's a chance United
may play their new(ish) 4-4-2-1 formation with Cantona and Scholes
playing just behind Cole with Giggs in a more central role.

The spotlight is on both Collymore and Cole cos neither have really
done much this season although Cole has been in the side regularly,
playing well but not scoring. I guess today is the ideal time for
either Collymore or Cole to get a hat-trick and carve their names into
the hearts of their supporters.

On current form the result should be a draw but I feel United would
fancy their chances of 3 points with Giggs and Schmeichal back for the
first time in 3 games. I'm going to stick my neck out and say that
Cole will get at least one goal with the final result :-

Liverpool 2 - Man Utd 4

Don't ask me to put money on it though :-)

[detailed summary by me of why Man Utd would win......]

: Liverpool 2 - Man Utd 4

: Don't ask me to put money on it though :-)

Liverpool should have had more and United were lucky to get 0. I've
seen Man Utd play well and lose these games, I've seen Man Utd play
badly and scrape a draw or even a win but I've rarely seen United look
as useless as they did yesterday. Sharpe should realise that if he
***es about not being in the team regularly, that when he gets his
chance he should ***y take it. McClair tries but is only an asset
when he has someone like Keane alongside him, the trouble yesterday
was that with both ***and Keane out, United had no ball winners in
midfield and were consequently overrun.

Having said that, they should have shown a lot more going forward and
I'm fairly sure that when Keane and ***are fit, Ferguson will try
Cantona and Scholes up front for a while and give Mr. Cole some time
in the reserves to get his goalscoring touch back.

No complaints, Liverpool were worthy winners in the most one-sided
Lancashire derby match since United won 4-1 at Anfield in 1969.

Mind you, United only play as badly as that once or twice a season so
I'm confidently predicting two very easy and comprehensive wins
against Leeds and Newcastle
