Can anybody confirm that? It will make them almost invicible, Fredinand's
power with Shearer's skill, supplied by Beardsley & Ginola.

I'm not a Toon supporter so I hope Blacburn manage to keep him because
even if he stays they are going nowhere this season anyway.

But if he leaves....well...cya in 1st div :)

Rumours have persisted all summer up until this week that Keegan will
offer 10 Million for Shearer, various spoofs have also been linked to
this such as someone nicking dome Blackburn letter-headed paper and
pretending to be Dalglish offering Shearer to Keegan. Newcastle certainly
have the money after selling Fox to gullible Spurs for 4.25m while
Blackburn have no interest in Europe. It's not as if Blackburn need the
money either unless they reckon Shearer isn't playing well. Wait and see,
it wouldn't suprise me if he does sign as he'll win nowt with Blackburn
this year.  

Just to set the record straight, New Castle is actually just the one
word. Newcastle. As for saying that Newcastle would be invincible, it
looks as if thet're going to be, anyway. OK so they've not really played
against the top half of the table yet, but judging by the performance
against Liverpool and anticipating their gubbing of Shearer's Blackburn
Rovers this Wednesday, I think they will have won the league by
February.
P.S. I have to tell someone this so I an say "I told you so" at the end
of the season - Les Ferdinand will score 50 goals for NUFC this season
(if doesn't get any long-term injuries that is.

for gods sake ,all these rumours are about just because shearer is a geordie
,not because there's any truth in them
a few years ago the rumours were all about waddle....did it happen?
