I volunteer to provide the Scottish Premier results for February. Anyone
interested in taking on the task for March/April/May please email and we
can organise some rota system.

*************************************************************************

Scottish Premier Results from 3rd February
------------------------------------------

Aberdeen                 2       Heart of Midlothian        2
Nicholas pen 20, 45              Sandison 16  Fergusson 84
                                 Att 17000
Just the result that Rangers wanted. Hearts veteran right back, Walter
Kidd gave away the penalty and was sent off in the 88th minute. Maybe
that will allow Alan McLaren, Hearts 18 year old, under 21
internationalist back in the first team. Hearts equaliser was a follow
up to a penalty save from Robertson.

Dundee                    0      Celtic                     0
                                 Att 14,100
Celtic hault the slide. Another toothless attacking display from a team
dedicated to attacking entertaining football.

Dunfermline               1      St. Mirren                 0
O'Boyle  46                      Att 7068
Another 2 safety points for Dunfermline. St Mirren continue to blow hot
and cold. A dreadful game by all accounts.

Hibernian                 1      Motherwell                2
Collins 70                       Orr og 30, Paterson 55
                                 Att 6000
All seated stadia, newspaper reports suggest beds for Hibs supporters.
Then they could fall asleep in comfort. A few good results from Dundee
and Hibs could be in a relegation battle.

Rangers                   3      Dundee United              1
Walters 20 McCoist 36            Clark 44
Johnstone 39                     Att 39058
United defence serve up 3 goals on a plate for Rangers. All well taken.
Slightly worrying for the international team as Narey and Malpas figure
in plans for Italy. Rangers operate in 2nd gear once more.

Rangers looking good to retain their title but still to play Hearts
twice and Aberdeen at Pittodrie.

Rangers     25   16    5     4     36   13     37
Hearts      25   12    6     7     45   29     30
Aberdeen    25   12    6     7     39   23     30
Celtic      25    9    8     8     28   22     26
Motherwell  25    8    9     8     33   33     25
Dundee Unt  25    7   10     8     28   30     24
Dunfermline 25    8    6    11     26   36     22
Hibernian   25    7    7    11     22   31     21
St Mirren   25    8    5    12     22   40     21
Dundee      25    3    8    14     30   52     14

Next weeks fixtures
St Mirren Dundee
Dundee United Aberdeen
Celtic Hibs
Hearts Dunfermline
Motherwell Rangers
