Does this message get posted every ***ing week!
Well Darren, I may have used you're data files but I damn well won't now. If
people want an editor they can quite easily use one of the many net search
engines to look for one. By all accounts yours are ***anyway.

Just in case you don't want to grace this muppet's site after his bi-
weekly abuse of the ng, mail me and I'll mail you the only 3 data
files worth having. Let me know if you want them zipped or not.

It only gets posted to let others know that it has been updated.  This
saves them from downloading an old out of date editor.  What do you
mean my data files are crap?  Have you ever used them?  By the sound s
of your mail you haven't.  So you are contradicting yourself.  Whats
wrong with letting others know that it has been updated anyway.  You
don't have to read the message do you?  Why don't you just crawl back
under your rock and toss yourself off you obnoxious ***!!!

This make no sense. If you've put an updated version on your site then that
will be downloaded, regardless of how many time you spam it on a newsgroup.
You don't need to advertise the fact there's a new version every time some
Div 3 player is put on loan to somewhere else.

Being a CM2 fan I had a look at one, and putting yourself and someone else
called Noyce in them hardly means they're top quality. I've seen far better
updates around on the web.

Because it wastes bandwidth and download time, moron. Most of the users
have to sift through your repetitive shite every day.

Why don't you get back to making a sensible non-egotistic update and stop
posting this crap. You make sod-all contribution to this group apart from
some "Me-me-me! I made this wonderful update. Aren't I clever?" bollocks
ever day.

If that's all you're trying to do, there's a much better way of doing
that.
You already have a Web page for your editor, correct?  And I assume that
you update that page when you update the editor, correct?  Well, then,
there's a service called URL-Minder (at http://www.netmind.com) that will
automatically send out an email notification when a page changes.  All people
have to do is sign up for that service; if you want to make it easier for them
to do that, there's instructions on the www.netmind.com site that allow you
to set up a form on your page--all people do is fill in their email address
and click Register, and presto, they're all signed up.
It's easier for you (since the notifications happen automatically),
it's better for the people interested in the updates (since they're much more
likely to miss a Usenet posting than they are to miss the email notification),
and it's better for the people who aren't interested (since they don't have
to see repeated Usenet posts).

Listen here m8ty.  I only post to let people know that the files are
updated so that they don't waste their time downloading out of date
ones.  What 3 data files do you think are worth having then?  Come on
suprise me.  I have found none that are totally accurate yet.
