Scottish Premier League - results from Saturday 10th March
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Celtic          1       Hearts          1
- Hearts must be the form team of the moment.  By all reports of this game,
  they played extremely well.  Unfortunately for them, John Colquhoun was
  injured and looks likely to miss the Scottish Cup game against Aberdeen.
  Celtic tried a new forward line, of Miller and Coyne,  when they
  substituted "Jacki".
Dundee          1       Dunfermline     0
- Dundee continue their recovery with a fine win, which brings them within
  4 points from avoiding relegation.  The Dundee defence coped well with
  Dunfermline's poor tactics of hitting long high balls into the penalty
  box.
Hibernian       3       Aberdeen        2
- Paul Wright, the ex-Don, scores the winning goal to give Hibs a deserved
  win.  Neil Orr in the Hibs defence is the outstanding player while Willie
  Miller, just back from injury, has a terrible game for Aberdeen.  This win
  gives Hibs a glimmer of a hope in the race for the final European place.
Motherwell      0       Dundee Utd      1
- Jackson and Connoly look to have a promising career for Dundee Utd.  They
  combined to score a fine goal in this game.  The sad news for Motherwell
  was that Colin O' Neil broke his leg in this game.
Margaret Thatcher made the Semi-final draw at Ibrox on Saturday.  Many
questions were being asked as to why the draw was being made when the
quarter-final ties hadn't even been played.  The draw is :-
St Mirren or Clydebank or Stirling Albion vs Dunfermline or Celtic
Aberdeen or Hearts vs Dundee Utd or Hibernian
