Did anyone see the bit on Friday about the organisers of WC94 giving out
leaflets to spectators telling them how to chant????!!!!

"
Goal Kick:
  Oooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrr!
    (Rather like College Football)
"
Frank Skinners reply, "There should be something on the end of that!"

"
When the defence clears the ball:
  Reeejjjjjjjjjjjected!
"

Call me Mr Thicko, (I sure some prat will..:) but does any football nation in
world actually chant "Rejected!"??????

Something tells me holding the WC in USA wasn't such a good idea (No offence to
soccer fans in the US intended)

Yeah, I've been getting that feeling too. How many times have you seen
leaflets explaining what to chant when at UK matches. Well apart from the new
Tottenham scoreboard, but that is a special case, Spurs fans aren't nuclear
physicists lets be honest.

And as for chanting Rejected !!

I've spent the whole weekend trying to work out why anyone WOULD chant
rejected.  What is it supposed to mean?  Our house tried it out while
watching Boro' vs Millwall on Sunday, but it still didn't make sense
to us.

Wrong! I know a Spurs fan who is a nuclear physicist! Well, he was working
at CERN, so I suppose he's actually a sub-atomic physicist. So, stick
that in your pipe and smoke it.

That doesn't detract from the fact that our new scoreboard is embarrassingly
bad with the tripe that it puts up. I wonder if it said "Nice One Vinny!"
after he'd handed Sheff Weds third goal to them on a plate last Saturday?

Well, maybe it doesn't happen at games, but I can certainly see it happening now when
watching Match of the Day after getting back from the pub on a Saturday night.

Do I not like that.

Tim.

Yes your scoreboard is "embarrassingly bad" just like your team.

Yours the POSH Fan.
