Imperials lose two; 3,152 watch 'Riders win

The North Jersey Imperials were undefeated coming into weekend play, but that
changed quickly.  On Friday, the Connecticut Wolves got a goal from John
Maessner late in the game to beat the Imperials 1-0 in Connecticut.  On
Saturday, 3,152 Rough Riders faithful saw goals from Danny Mueller and Daniel
Leon, as the Long Island Rough Riders topped the Imperials 2-1.  Pat O'Kelly
scored the lone North Jersey goal.  The win gave Long Island a weekend split,
after they were beaten on Friday, 2-1 by the Delaware Wizards.  1,950 Wizards
fans saw goals from Eric Smith and Mike Edwards in the win, while Giovanni
Savarese notched the lone Rider goal in the loss.  The New York Fever struggled
through the weekend with two losses.  The first loss came on Friday night to
the Boston Storm, 3-0.  Kevin Anderson, Dan Calichman and Steve Casneck all
scored for the Storm in the victory.  The Fever's struggles continued on
Saturday as they were defeated by the Cape Cod Crusaders 4-1 in front of 1,350
