IDLE THOUGHTS
=============
     Washington snapped Monterrey's 5-game winning streak with a 7-5
     victory in Monterrey; La Raza scored just 5 goals at home after
     scoring 11, 14, 8, 11, 12, and 10 in their last 6 home games...
     Detroit (6-9) and Indianapolis split their
     home-and-home series... San Diego (7-6) beat Monterrey to win their
     3rd in a row... Dallas (9-7) went 1-2 on their West Coast road trip,
     with all three games being decided by one goal... Anaheim (8-5)
     snapped their 2-game losing streak with a 5-4 win at Washington...
     Seattle (6-10) wins its second in a row and hands Portland (6-10) its
     4th straight loss on Saturday... Washington (8-7), playing its fourth
     game in five days, fell to last place Indianapolis (6-10) on Sunday,
     losing its 3rd in a row... Sacramento (9-7) won its 3rd in a row
     in a rematch of last year's championship series with a 9-3 rout of
     Monterrey (10-7), who have now lost 3 in a row... Houston (11-6),
     whose previous high of wins in a season was just 8, won both games
     this week to take over first in the East.
