2-2, Milan scores at the death to break Barca's 100% home record in
the UCL going all the way back to 20 October 2009!!

Didn't see the game, any comments? Was it a worthy point or was Barca
caught napping twice?

What a game!!! 70% possession to Barca and it ended 2-2!

Milan didn't even try to play! Hilarious!

They had 1 - 1 at home with Real in the semi last year. True they were
already in the final at that point but then again this draw also
doesn't matter too much.

IMO they slowed down too early, should have scored another one first
which looked well within their reach. Plenty of time too. Also they
have some problems in defense, Pique missing, I guess they'll sort
them out soon enough. Plus Iniesta was out and Fabregas is nowhere
near a good replacement (IMO Iniesta is at the moment about as good as
Xavi if not better). Then again I don't think it matters much, they'll
beat them in Milan if they have to. Until then they have time to
correct their problem areas.

I mean last season. A few months ago.

Yeah, it was too easy to score...

When did they slow down exactly? 92nd minute?

What if he gets injured again? Barca has NO depth in defence, that's why
they were after Thiago Silva.

Of course they will, like they did today;)

That also goes for all teams.

Milan also had certain players missing including Robinho, Ibra (plus
Mexes and Taiwo) so it will not be as easy as it seems.

Until then they have time to

LOL Why was I sure a comment like this will follow from you ? Now I
predict your pal Abubakr will jump in with some of his own, and you 2
will end up name-calling.

70th min or so.

AFAIK they do have depth in defense right now. Masch, Abidal, Keita,
Puyol and a few youths the names of which I don't know. I'm no expert
but I guess right now the question is if Puyol is still up to playing
at this level. If you ask me the answer is probably no, he should
start thinking about retiring. But they'll figure it out soon enough.

Right. You don't get this kind of luck twice. Enjoy it while you can.

Yeah, in 2 months Milan will be on average 5 years younger.

True, but I still think they'd have won this one quite easily if they
had really wanted to. We'll see.

Not so FairFootball is an anti Italian football troll. Not to be taken
seriously.

I guess not soon enough, given that Pato went through the entire defence
easily, and Milan scored 2 gols with 2 shots;)

If Barca play with the same defence, luck won't be needed.

It's also about maximising oportunities, something you don't seem to
comprehend. Possession means nothing if you don't capitalise on it.

No, they will be fitter and be able to press more.

Today Milan were like statues, and still managed to score 2 gols.

That can be outdone, only by, yes, Arsenal, scored a goal with ZERO shots
against Barcelona...

How I wish we defended better, the stats on todays match were very similar
to the R16 match of last season, 800 passes to 180, 70%-30% possession, the
difference being, Milan had six shots!!!

The only luck that will be needed is stopping their attack, and hopefully
having the referee on your side!!!

It's nothing special scoring against Barcelona, in fact, its not even
noteworthy, when you outscore them, then it counts, and then you can rub it
in, until then, nothing is won, and deep down, you know it will take
something special to knock them off... which is possible!!!

Outscore them, then rub it in good... they have been on top for too long
now... time for a new team to break through!!!

Yes I recall him posting a truckload of bollocks during the 2006 WC.

Yeah that was great! I think they can be outdone by many teams, mainly
Italian teams who can defend very well.

And if the ref had been fairer;)

Milan managed to stop their attacks for long periods of time, even with
Zambrotta giving 10 meters to his opponent. I was suprised Milan didn't get
more gols, given that they were very immobile.

Yeah, but 2-2 on their homeground is like a victory. They won 9 consecutive
CL games at home.

We probably won't win in the group stages, and I don't care if we don't, as
long as we win in the knockout stages.

No point in arguing about that. We'll see what happens at the San
Siro. Probably by then Barca get their act together, at least inasmuch
as is necessary to show Milan who's boss.

Relax, you won't win in the KO stages either. You'll be shown out by
some Manchester team.
