Just heard (c/o Radio 1) that Neil Ruddock has been signed by
Liverpool for 2.5 million quid. Of course I also heard there that Simon
Bates was Britains favourite DJ, but thats another story. Ruddock was
never happy at Spurs after the Terry Venables ousting, and was known to
be looking for a transfer.

Two questions arise:

1) After being rejuvanated by the tactical genius of T.V., how will
Ruddock fare under the tactical no-hope of the moustached BELOVED?

2) Will Neil be the Spurs' fans hero or villain next season? Will he be
branded a "Tottenham Reject" and be booed at every touch of the ball?
Will any Spurs fans be there to boo him?

I heard this morning on breakfast telly (bbc 1) that he is not transfering
do to signing on fees being owed to Ruddock by Spurs.

I thought such fees were meant be illegal undertax laws but there again it
is only football.
