Italian though also miscontrolled at the crucial moment and made the
most *** attempt of a dive to remedy and got booked for his trouble.

Score 0-2 to Liverpool. They were lucky with the second goal.
Mascherano should have been booked for flooring Boa Morte. Instead,
Liverpool matched up the other way and the furious Boa Morte pulled
down Torres to conceed a pen. Gerrard converted on the follow up.

Liverpool need to learn to control the tempo of the game without
Alonso.

Anyway, the title was sealed after the Arsenal game, if not Macheda's
goal vs. Sunderland.

If they couldn't lose to Spurs (who are better than City and Hull)
down 0-2 at half-time hard to see where they drop points.
