Don't forget that Sion won the double in Switzerland this year, and Swiss
football is considered to be stronger than Scottish.
Grasshoppes results vs. Rangers would also sustain this.

Yes, I'm painfully aware of this. I assume your rules will be on the web
page, so I won't ask for any explanation or debate (yet). Neil Murray's
a guy who got booed every time he played for the Rangers, and left to go
to Sion for nothing or next to nothing...that was my only point.

It doesn't matter who wins one meeting, the reasons these computer
ranking are the best there is is because they taken an entire season
into account.   A team who plays mediocre is their own league but turns
it on European competition should not be above a team who dominates
their league and gets upset.

How can either way that is talked about get an accurate measure of the best
team in Europe.  If, as Ron wrote, the Euro Cups cannot be used since teams
can cause upsets (which is completely true) how can we possibly measure a
teams success compared to other Euro teams?  The truth is, we can't -
unless a massive competition was held between every European team.  That,
of course, is completely stupid.

there should be a european league. a real league over the year. then
well see whos the best...of course it would be pretty tough on the
teams playing in that league, because they also have to play in their
native league...thats why, i dont think its gonna happen...
