SOUTH CENTRAL DIVISION
Las Vegas finds no Jackpot in Texas

The D/FW Toros hosted the Las Vegas Quicksilvers on Friday night and showed  no
Texas hospitality as they beat the Quicksilvers 5-4.  Baltazar Ascencio led the
Toros with three goals, while Manuel Romero and Nicolas Velez got the other two
for D/FW.  Las Vegas fell short with two goals from Tarcos Bordinaro and one
each from Rico Vasquez and Osvaldo Hernandez.  The tough Texas trip continued
for Las Vegas, as the Texas Lightning took their turn on Saturday to the tune
of a 7-0 Lightning victory.  Forward A.J. Jones scored four goals, Aaron Gordon
scored two goals and Colin Rocke rounded out the scoring with a goal as the
Lightning cruised to the win.  In other divisional action, the San Antonio
Pumas travelled to Wichita on Friday to take on the Blue Angels.  With two
goals from David Gilliam and goals from Steve Scauer, Marco Feruzzi and J.D.
Stark, the Pumas got the 5-2 win.  Paul Boyer and Carlos Adams got the goals
for the Blue Angels.  On Saturday night the Pumas luck ran out as they were
beaten 3-2 by the Tulsa Roughnecks in front of over 1,100 people.  Jason
Maricle got the winning goal for Tulsa on a 7th foul shotout with less than a
minute left in the game, while Marc Langbartels notched the other Roughneck
goal.  San Antonio was led by goals from Americo Ayala and Steve Schauer.
