Karimi may be up to the task at Bayern after all

Having been skeptical about Karimi's chances to stick at Bayern, all these
praises from Magath is coming as a surprise to me. I am not sure how much of
it is Magath having to stick to his guns and defending his first ever
signing but it seems like he is getting praises from other teammates too.

Karimi lives up to Magath's expectations

I saw him playing in a friendly match in Karlsruhe, a german 2nd division
team. Bayern did not play very good though. Only draw 3-3. Karimi scored
once in his first match, I think. And, all in all, he was one of the best
teams of Bayern.

Playing for the Iranian national team he sometimes pulls a disappearing act.
You see him be every where on the pitch in one game and the next you have a
hard time spotting him on the field! Most of it seems to be due to his
fitness or lack of it. However, if he survives the Bayern training and gets
his body in shape he could be a force to reckon with.
