Second Phase, second legs (away goals count):

 Aurora (Cochabamba-BOL) 5-2 Nacional (Asuncin-PAR)
[Jair Reynoso 21', Diomedes Pe?a 26' (PK), Fernando
   Sanjurjo 39', Augusto Andaveris 74', Jaime Cardozo 90+1' -
   Rodrigo Teixeira 7', 32'; agg.: Aurora 6-3]
It all started so bright for Nacional Querido when Teixeira
headed in a corner kick to spoil Aurora's away goal edge,
but Don gave away a rebound on a Galindo shot and
Reynoso tapped in the equalizer. Pe?a put the hosts ahead
from the spot, Teixeira soon took profit of a rebound to put
the visitors ahead on away goals, but a nice long distance
shot by Sanjurjo put the Bolivian team back ahead before
the break. Andaveris was given plenty of time to score the
fourth from close range after a corner kick and substitute
Cardozo added a fifth in injury time.
Aurora face Vasco da Gama (BRA).

 Emelec (Guayaquil-ECU) 1-2 Olimpia (Asuncin-PAR)
  [Jos Mara Franco 73' - Richard Ortiz 7', Pablo Zeballos 26';
   agg.: Olimpia 4-2]
Ortiz, with a crossing shot from the left, and Zeballos, after
neatly cutting inside a defender, killed the tie early, but
Emelec insisted bravely until finally scoring a consolation
goal through Franco, who injured himself while shooting and
left his team with ten men (all substitutions had been made).
Olimpia had soon Cceres sent off and the match was ended
a few minutes before time because objects were being thrown
  at Olimpia's 'keeper Martn Silva.
  Olimpia face Arsenal Sarand (ARG).

 Nacional (Montevideo-URU) - Univ. de Chile (Santiago-CHL)
  [10:15 PM GMT; 1st leg: La U 1-0]
  Winners face Flamengo (BRA).

 Libertad (Asuncin-PAR) - La Equidad (Bogot-COL)
  [Sep 22 12:45 AM GMT; 1st leg: Libertad 1-0]
  Winners face S?o Paulo (BRA).
