Suker to set up summer soccer schools
ZAGREB, Croatia, April 2 (AFP) -
Croatia's international striker Davor Suker is set to quit English
Premiership side West Ham and set up a chain of coaching academies in
Croatia, it was reported here on Monday.
"I've played 20 matches for West Ham and I won't be playing another as that
would mean extending my contract for another year," the former Real Madrid
striker told Croatian sports journal Sportske Novosti.
"I fully intend to quit West Ham this summer and dedicate my full attentions
to my training school," he added.
The 33-year-old intends to establish soccer summer schools in towns across
Croatia.
