Maidenhead game covered
The club's Press Office has confirmed that BBC Football Focus are
hoping to come to The Rec to film a piece about the Aldershot Town on
Tuesday 4th March. The interest in Aldershot Town and Unibond
counterparts Accrington Stanley, has been awakened by the two former
league clubs' push for promotion to the Nationwide Conference.

The BBC team plan to interview the players and management and possibly
some of the fans, as well as filming the game against Maidenhead and
filming in the dressing room, the pre match and half time team talks.
The programme will go out on March 22nd and will also feature a mirror
piece on Accrington Stanley. Given the excellent publicity this
feature will bring it would be great to have a cracking atmosphere
around the place on the night.

Of course, neither club is the same club that played in the Football
League!

It was dissapointing to only see about five minutes on the two non
league clubs (Accrington Stanley & Aldershot Town) but i suppose it is
better than nothing. For Aldershot Town there were very quick higlights
of the 1-1 draw with Maidenhead United and they spoke to one fan and
the manager and that was it!!!.
