C'mon lads, Surely somebody can take the time out and
just post the result of the match and maybe a few
details to go along with it.

I'm afraid Southampton won 1-0 with a goal in the 88th minute, add
to that Luton beat a severely depleated Forest side 2-1 it looks like
curtains for West Ham. Pity really there are far more deserving teams
in division one, warrenting releagation rather than West Ham.

Cheers - Ian

All right, all right.

Well here's the result:

Sorry to dissappoint all you hammers out there.

West Ham 0 Southampton 1
           Adams 88 mins

Sorry I haven't got any further details except to say the crowd was
around the 18000 mark and according to the press it was an uninspiring
display.
This result all but eliminates the hammers chance of staying in the
First (oops sorry Premier) League next season. :-(

The hammers visit Maine Road this coming Saturday, and are sure of a
very warm reception due to the team including a couple of
ex-favourites of the Maine Road faithful, Clive Allen and Ian Bishop.
It'll be nice to see them play well.

Cheers

Yes it was a very dissappointing and depressing result and there will be
another old man. city boy and that will be Trevor Morley. Well hopefully
he'll be playing for West Ham because he is one of my favourite players
even if he never scores.

Well 'tricky' Trev did play. All three (Bishop, Allen and Morley) did
get a warm reception from the Maine Road faithful (even Clive who
wasn't playing, but still took time out to stand up in the dugout and
wave to the fans). Bishop got a very warm receptoin at the end of the
game aswell in the form of a 'there's only one Ian Bishop' chant. To
which he turned round and waved to the Kippax. It just goes to prove
that good players are never forgotten.
Well as for the result City won 2-0 thanks to a Neil Pointon goal
after 68 seconds and a Wayne Clark goal after 74 minutes. This result
means West Ham have to win their last three games and hope those above
loose their remaining games, It's possible. They can start their
winning run tonight against Man U.

c'mon you hammers

Cheers
