USA youth team creamed Turkey youth team 6-0 in Melbourne, OZ. The game
played by the Americans was unbelievable, it was the perfect game, long
shots, great passing, confidence etc. Chris Faklaris scored 3 goals Miles
Joseph? 2 and can't remember who scored 1. Greatest moment in soccer for a
US team? What made it even more amazing for the US was that there was a
huge number of very vocal Turks urging their players toward goal and booing
the American's attacking runs.

now the trick is for our full national team, W/ bora to play like that.
if we can do that, then we will have mounted a serious threat to the
second round in WC94.

the problem is that somehow our national team will not be able to play
as confidently or as sharply. but here's to hoping!!!!!

i think the us has some good players to be able to play at high levels, but
most are lacking confidence and experience. the us full international team
has a tendency to always be the underdog and plays like it.
we need to bre able to dictate play for better or worse.
